A new exhibition called “The Quest for the Castle”.has just opened at Dursley Heritage Centre which shows a collection of information about Dursley Castle prior to 1886. There will be a study of the Castle site from the 16th century manorial leases of Dursley as well as some background to the family who built it, maintained it, let it go to ruin then demolished it and carried away its stones. The exhibition will run until the end of April 2018.
